Detail
According to the First Progress Report of the National Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation Plan, preparatory progress was made in 3 of the 4 parks prioritised for 2023—Campos del Tuyú, Copo and Talampaya—including the identification of information needs, the development and validation of risk chains, and the mapping of potential adaptation actions. In Los Alerces, the fourth park, progress was limited to initial diagnostic stages. A specific risk assessment for communities in Los Glaciares was also prepared.
However, the objective requires 37 management plans to be formally updated and approved, incorporating the adaptation dimension. To date, there is no public evidence of new or updated plans that meet this standard.
