According to the official response from the Undersecretariat of Environment, 1,529 units of equipment were delivered to municipalities to strengthen dumpsite management and the circular economy. However, the information is not disaggregated by municipality and does not link each delivery to specific small-scale illegal dumpsite remediation activities; therefore, achievement of the objective cannot be verified. In addition, without a national registry of dumpsites and small-scale illegal dumpsites, there is no baseline against which municipal capacity-building can be measured.
