Detail
There is no single national registry or common methodology for counting waste pickers who have been formally integrated. The available sources, including the Argentina Recycles Programme, Social Inclusion Plans under GIRSU projects and municipal reports, provide information on equipment deliveries or specific agreements, but do not address this indicator.
In the absence of a baseline, responses to the information requests submitted, clear operational definitions—such as a valid municipal contract or agreement and registration with a cooperative or another formal legal entity—and a regular reporting cycle, the indicator cannot be estimated. The “No information” classification is maintained until a consolidated registry with national coverage is published.
